Responsibilities: - Perform repairs and maintenance on gaming consoles, specializing in retro gaming consoles such as NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 1, Xbox, etc.

  • Refurbish and restore retro gaming consoles to their original conditions, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues, troubleshoot problems, and find appropriate solutions.
  • Test repaired and refurbished consoles to verify their functionality and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.

Requirements:
  • Solid understanding and experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and refurbishing retro gaming consoles.
  • Proficient in the use of industry-standard tools and equipment for console repairs.
  • Familiarity with common issues and problems faced by retro gaming consoles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

  • Play various video games across different platforms (NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.) and provide detailed feedback on gameplay, graphics, audio, and overall experience.
  • Identify any bugs, glitches, or issues in the games or hardware, and report them to the repair team.
  • Collaborate with other testers and repair staff to troubleshoot and resolve any identified issues.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of the testing process and results.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for video games, with a deep knowledge of different gaming consoles, platforms, and genres.
  • Experience with video game testing and familiarity with testing methodologies and processes. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and document issues.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear outcome of each tested item to the refurbishing team.
